Biography

Calvin R. Jones
Practicing in Anchorage since 1976, Rick Jones specializes in real estate law, construction law, secured transactions, landlord/tenant law, and other business and corporate matters.

After serving in the US Navy, he returned to Alaska and received his Bachelors degree from Alaska Methodist University. Working part time at a law office led him to seek his JD degree from California Western School of Law. Because of the business and commercial aspect of his practice, he later obtained his MBA from Alaska Pacific University. Mr. Jones is a member of the American, Alaska, and Anchorage Bar Associations. He has been a speaker at a number of continuing education seminars in real estate and commercial areas.

John W. Colver
Practicing in Anchorage since 1978, John Colver specializes in business organization and sales, contract law, trademark law, and other business and corporate matters, as well as estate planning and probate law. He received  his Bachelors degree from Alaska Methodist University, then is JD degree with honors from Gonzaga University School of Law. Mr. Colver is a member of the American, Alaska and Anchorage Bar Associations, as well as the Anchorage Estate Planning Council. He has taught business law at the University of Alaska Anchorage, and been a speaker in various continuing education seminars in the Anchorage area.
